Who
Currently, I’m a Ph.D. student at the IBM Zurich Research Lab. I work in the Data Analytics group of the Math & Computational Sciences department. Academically, I’m affiliated to the Machine Learning group of the Swiss Institute of Technology in Zurich.
I graduated from the Swiss Institute of Technology in Lausanne in 2006 with a Master of Science in Computer Science and a specialization in biocomputing, but actually what I am doing now is closer to data analysis and machine learning. I do intend to come back to biocomputing and bioinformatics some day, though.
Research
I am interested in learning causal relationships from data.
